Gable Home maintenance, for Android

Every house has a list. Gable knows what is on yours.

Three questions about where you live, a tick-list of what your house has, and you get the maintenance plan for that house — what is due this season, why it matters, and what it costs to skip. No account, no address, nothing to set up.

Why it matters

Every job on the list argues for itself

Open anything and it tells you why it matters, how to do it, and what it costs to skip. That last part is the whole point: you are not buying a to-do list, you are buying the repair you never have to pay for.

Ten minutes on an outdoor tap in October, or a burst pipe in January. A filter you forgot, or the furnace call-out you could have avoided.

A task in Gable: why it matters, numbered how-to steps, and a cost-of-skipping card reading "A $100-200 service vs an emergency call in January and a real CO risk."

It starts already knowing things

Most maintenance apps hand you a blank list and call it a feature. Gable starts from a curated library of seventy real tasks and throws away the ones that are not yours: gutters only if you have gutters, the winter list only where winters actually freeze. Hemisphere, freezing winters, humid season — three answers do the work a location permission would, without ever asking where you live.

Reminders before the window closes

One grouped notification for the week ahead, a nudge for anything overdue, and an optional look at the month to come. Never more than a handful at once — a house ignored for a season does not need twenty notifications. Pick the hour they arrive, or turn the monthly preview off. There is a home screen widget with the next three, too.

The record your house never had

Mark something done and it goes in the log with the date, a note, what you paid and up to three photos. Over time that becomes the record of the house: what was serviced, when, and what it cost per year. Export it as a PDF or a CSV whenever you want — for a buyer, an insurer, a surveyor, or just for yourself.

Offline and private

It works with the plane on

Your plan, your log and your photos stay on the phone. There is no account to create, no address to type, no cloud to sync to, and no server that could lose your data or be breached for it. The only things that leave the device are the purchase itself, through Google Play, and anonymous usage analytics.
